Vijay is currently Senior Lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC), Bournemouth, UK. He also supervises research projects at the AECC and a member of The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).
He obtained a PhD (Physiology) in 2002 from University of Bristol, UK and spent 10 years in experimental research at the University of Bristol. He received the ‘Fellow of the Higher Education Academy’ (FHEA), UK in 2012: this award confirms his credentials and is an acknowledgement of his contribution to enhancing teaching quality and student experience in the HE sector.
He has a total of 20 years’ experience of teaching in HE institutions in Britain. Vijay has been repeatedly recognised as a teacher of outstanding quality by his peers and students. In 2013 and 2014, he received the AECC “Student-Led Teaching Award” (SLTA) for his outstanding teaching and support of students.
